#LetsTalkRESPs takes Canada by storm!

Girl Playing With Stephascope

What better way to spend a snowy night in Canada than talking RESPS? On Wednesday, November 19, we had the privilege of chatting education savings with Canadians in our #LetsTalkRESPs Twitter party. Our hashtag was trending across the country and certainly made a big splash in the Twitterverse with more than 3,200 tweets (that's almost 1 tweet per second!)

Hosted by the lovely @mommykatandkids and co-hosts @momvstheboys and @mommymomentblog, the party was a huge success and highlighted some important information about RESPs. Our guest expert and the RESP master himself, @PeterLewis67, couldn’t keep up with all the questions that were pouring in!

Here are some tweets from the evening...

The best part is that this discussion took place during the first ever Education Savings Week in Canada (November 16-22). November is also Financial Literacy Month, so there’s no better time to be talking about RESPs and the many benefits they offer.

Since so many people had great questions for our guest RESP expert Peter Lewis (@peterlewis67), we’ve compiled a Storify of his responses to each and every of them. You can click here to view it and feel free to share!
